| Overview: In this assessment task, students analyze historical documents to investigate how accurately and objectively the Chicago
World's Fair of 1893 represented life in the United States at the time. Students will use information from both primary
and secondary sources and their prior knowledge of the time period to complete the investigation and write a summary
stating their conclusions. This assessment is appropriate to use at the conclusion of a unit of study of United States
