Assessment Resources: Government

Although Government is no longer a component of Maryland’s HSA graduation requirement, it remains a state course requirement for receiving a high school diploma. Therefore, all of the resources that were previously developed to help students prepare for the Government HSA have been retained. These include sample assessment items, the Core Learning Goals Tool Kit, and the Government online course, which are linked below. These resources can be used to assist teachers with designing appropriate formative and summative assessments for their students.

With HSA online courses, you and your child can learn or review HSA content, practice questions that mirror the HSA format, and receive feedback through computer-based practice exercises.
