Standard 1.0 Perceiving and Responding: Aesthetic Education: Students will demonstrate the ability to perceive, interpret, perform, and respond to the development of a variety of dramatic forms over time and the aesthetic qualities they reflect.:
1. Describe ways that theatre depicts themes and stories
a. Listen to and perform nursery rhymes and finger plays, popular children's books, and other media
b. Tell stories based on imagination and real life that use traditional storytelling elements
c. Explore roles and behaviors associated with different professions
2. Identify and describe the visual, aural, oral, and kinesthetic elements of dramatic performances
a. Explore basic properties of dance, music, theatre, and visual arts
