Susan C. Spinnato

Susan C. Spinnato

Specialist, World Languages — Susan Spinnato is the Specialist for World Languages at the Maryland State Department of Education. She coordinates the development of the World Language Standards, the State Curriculum and Toolkit for World Languages, and provides technical assistance to local school systems for world languages program development and implementation. Mrs. Spinnato works with representatives from colleges, universities, state agencies, embassy representatives, and community and professional organizations to promote world languages and international education. Susan has been a world languages educator for 35 years. Prior to coming to MSDE, she was the Coordinator of World Languages for Baltimore County Public Schools.
