Scott PfeiferScott Pfeifer is currently MSDE’s Director of Instructional Assessment & Teacher Effectiveness. He has served as the principal of three high schools in the Howard County Public School system prior to arriving at MSDE. He provides technical assistance to all 24 LEAs regarding the Bridge Plan for Academic Validation, and more recently, leads professional development initiatives within the Division of Instruction. Scott’s accomplishments include leading Atholton High School to be named a Blue Ribbon School in 1992 and receiving the Milken Family Foundation National Educator award in 1993. Scott has published articles and book reviews in the NASSP Bulletin, Principal Leadership Magazine, Phi Delta Kappan, and the National School Board Journal. |
